IWhat do we know about Anya Hindmarch handbags? When I think of the London-based designer, I think of the mirrored leather handbags that the Anya Hindmarch name is most famous for (Okay, most famous for ASIDE from the “I’m Not A Plastic Bag” Tote). Anyone remember the Perriand Mirror Tote? Metallics are one thing, but that bag was so shiny you could see your reflection in it! But fear not Bag Bliss readers, for I have good news! Anya Hindmarch has a new clutch for Fall 2008. It’s called the Riva Clutch and it’s black with mirrored leather trim. The shiny stuff was used exactly how it should be — as an accent! And personally, I find the clutch to be rather charming. It’s classy and a little bit retro. And the resin turnlock? Cute!

The Anya Hindmarch Riva Clutch can be found over in the Designer Boutique section at Shop Bop. It measures 10.5″ x 6″ x 2.5″, has a suede lining, and retails for $495. In my opinion the price seems a bit steep for what you’re getting. Oh well, I guess not everything about it is good news!

    Check it out here: shopbop.com.

It’s not a secret that Michael Kors is one of my ultimate favorite designers. I may not love every handbag by him, but I’m always finding myself loving at least one of his handbags every season. This season I’m dueling over the Michael Kors Newbury Woven Clutch in Black! I’ve always wanted a clutch but I could never find one that I absolutely adored. As soon as I set my eyes on the Michael Kors Newbury Clutch I was took! It’s the absolute perfect length for a clutch, measuring with a width of 11 inches. Usually when women think of a clutch they automatically think of a purse they can’t carry much in. Surprisingly, this clutch has a lot of room. There would be no problem putting a compact, lip gloss, phone and wallet in this clutch and still have room! It’s definitely a GREAT clutch for a night out on the town or just simply amazing when you don’t feel like carrying much.

The best part about this lovely clutch is it’s price! It’s definitely affordable for the clutch lovers! It has a great price tag at $228, which is a great buy for any clutch especially a designer one. I’m really considering purchasing this gorgeous clutch, are you?

How Can You Spot a Fake Louis Vuitton Handbag?

How Can You Spot a Fake Louis Vuitton Handbag?
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Roy_Leadwell]Roy Leadwell

Handbags made by Louis Vuitton are one of the most copied Luxury brand in the world. They have had international fame with their high end designer handbags. Louis Vuitton, the company is one of the most trusted designer brands, and they have very strict guidelines on their designs and quality. It is very easy to identify a fake Louis Vuitton from a authentic one. If you are buying a Louis Vuitton in person who will now that you can only buy a new authentic bag in their own authorized stores and Neiman Marcus. If you are trying to buy one elsewhere it is very possible that it is not authentic. Online they have more places to buy authentic bags, but be aware any Louis Vuitton handbag you try to buy online that is discounted or cheaper than on their retail site, eLuxury, is fake, period.

The classic look of Louis Vuitton is the monogram patten they have become known for. They have sold this pattern throughout the world and it is their bread and butter. In 2003 they made some variation on the classic brown monogram when they introduced the Murakami design. It was available in White, Black, and some locations Pink. This pattern was a revitalization of the company and they sold more of those patterns in a 2 year period than any other designs.

Some important things to remember is that all Authentic Louis Vuitton are numbered by style, there is a number inside the handbag on a leather tag, usually on the D-Ring. Another great thing to look for is that real LV’s only use oxidizing leather on the trim of their bags. Also the logo pattern on all Louis Vuitton handbags will match when the seam comes together, if you see one where the seam does not match, it is fake. Also the stitching on their bags are perfect, they do not release any bags with imperfections at all, they are destroyed.

Burberry - The British Fashion Luxury House

Burberry - The British Fashion Luxury House
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Roy_Leadwell]Roy Leadwell

The company that was founded in 1856 by the 21 year old Thomas Burberry, opened its first store in the town of Hampshire, England. The company is well known for its Check pattern and is copied throughout the world. By the 1870 the company was focused on developing outdoor wear. Thomas created the fabric gabardine, which is a very durable water resistant fabric and was patented in 1888.

The company headquarters was opened in a emporium in Haymarket, London in 1891, which it still stands today. The logo for Burberry was developed and trademarked in 1904, and they also outfitted at the time Roald Amundsen, he was the first man to reach the south pole, and in 1914 the man who lead an expedition across Antarctica, Ernest Shackleton. During the first World War the War office commissioned Burberry to create an officer’s coat, which eventually became what is known today as the modern trench coat. This design was popularized by Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca, Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Peter Seller in the Pink Panther. The style and grace of the check pattern has been embraced by the most fashionable celebrities, new and old.

The Check pattern known as novacheck or the “Burberry check” was the lining that was used for their trench coats in the 20’s. In the late 60’s the design was widely used in their luggage, handbags and umbrellas. The check image had some issues in the 70’s when it became popular with the British football crowd, which led to its association with hooligans. It became a running joke nationally and the South Wales police had a drive against anti-social behavior, they used the name Operation Burberry.

By the time the 90’s rolled around the company brought in Model Kate Moss to help revitalize the brand with a national campaign. In December 2005 it was spun off as the Burberry Group. The company has 36 company-owned retail stores in the US: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia.
